The annual Post Small Business Liaison Officer (PSBLO) of the Year Award recognizes the PSBLO whose leadership, support and activities best exemplifies the mission of the Small Business Council. Current members of a Post Board of Direction as the named PSBLO or Post Officer are eligible.

The PSBLO Award is based on achieving a minimum of five criteria segmented into three focus areas: SAME Post Participation, Small Business Council Participation, and Small Business Advocacy Outside SAME. From the nine criteria listed below, please click on the box to the right indicating those those accomplishments that are applicable to you. You may select as many as you desire; however you must meet a minimum of five of the nine criteria to qualify for the award. Then upload a brief summary detailing what you did to meet the criteria you noted.
SAME Post Participation: (select all those applicable)
Implemented Innovative membership recruiting of small businesses.
Advocates providing discounts to small businesses for Post or Regional Events.
Recognized a small business member or firm via newsletter, newspaper, magazine award, monthly Post meeting.
Received Letter(s) of appreciation/commendation from their Post President, a local or national organization or agency for post efforts in small business activity.

Starting in 2013, the SB Council will award five $1000 stipends to attend SBC, held in November. Stipend recipients will be selected from among nominees for the PSBLO of the Year Award. The Small Business Council will evaluate the nominations and award stipends to five individuals who contribute to the Society in ways that support and enrich the Small Business Council Mission.
