The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Omaha Post is pleased to announce the winners of the 30th Annual Student Mentoring Program Competition. The program, which challenges middle and high school students to solve real-world problems with the help of mentors and workshops, is designed to interest students in engineering, architecture, and related sciences.
This year’s competition saw an outstanding turnout, with students tackling a variety of challenging projects. The winners were selected by a panel of judges from SAME Omaha Post and the local engineering community.

Top Awards
- Post President’s Award (High School): Awarded to the team with the highest total points in the High School Division. A Small Town Big Library: Daniel J. Gross Catholic High School
- Post President’s Award (Middle School): Awarded to the team with the highest total points in the Middle School Division. Team Possible: St. Pius X, St. Leo Team #2
Awards of Distinction
The top five teams in both Middle and High School divisions, boasting the highest combined points across Gold and Silver Merit Categories, received Awards of Distinction.
