Construction opportunities in the Western Pacific will be exceeding $2 billion a year in investments over the next decade.

The expansion of military facilities in the Western Pacific has already begun, with a budget of more than $11 billion earmarked for projects. An additional $1 billion has been allocated for defense system facilities in Guam and new facilities in the C.N.M.I., the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of Palau.

The Society of Military Engineers (S.A.M.E.), Guam Post, will be hosting its two-day Guam Industry Forum 2024 from November 14-15, 2024, at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort. The forum is designed to attract companies throughout the United States and U.S. allied nations to learn how they can participate in expanding America’s military readiness in Asia. In collaboration with the Guam Chamber of Commerce and the Guam Contractors Association, S.A.M.E. Guam Post will host an event that offers attendees the opportunity to connect with global experts, U.S. military decision-makers, the Government of Guam, and key local businesses.
