PFAS IGE Webinar: AFFF Transitions to F3–A Global Update for DoD and Civilian Agencies

As the fire user communities across industries transition from Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) to Fluorine-Free Foams (F3), environmental health and safety professionals are being saddled with the responsibility of leading or participating in the AFFF transition and change-out to fluorine-free foam. This webinar will provide a global AFFF regulatory, legislative, and policy status, an overview of AFFF transitions and perspectives across various industry firefighting users and present some basic information about the differences between AFFF and F3 regarding mechanisms and capabilities, user segments, approvals and available products, codes and standards and tactics and techniques. Attendees will obtain a better understanding and clarification of main considerations regarding firefighting foam and the path to fluorine-free alternatives.
