Baltimore Post Sponsors

Be a sponsor of our Post

The Baltimore Post provides $30,000 per year in STEM scholarships to students in undergraduate programs for engineering, architecture and related fields. To provide this support for local students, we developed an Education and Mentoring Fund. In 2022 we rolled out our new Sponsorship Packages so companies could participate and support the efforts of the Post while gaining access to various events hosted by SAME Baltimore throughout the year.  The Baltimore Post offers an excellent platform for your firm to expand its visibility through our expansive network of over  1,200 members representing both government and commercial organizations. Learn more about the benefits.

The goal of these sponsorship packages is multi-fold:

  • Grow the Education and Mentoring Fund to be self-sustaining
  • Provide continued support of annual Post programs such as:
  • Mid-Atlantic Future Cities Engineering Competition for middle school students
  • Provide companies philanthropic opportunities to support STEM education
  • Day With An Engineer high school student shadowing program / Engineers Week programming
  • Easy As Pi middle school STEM mentoring program
  • Student Chapter events at Morgan State University and the U.S. Naval Academy
  • Development and support of future student chapters in the Baltimore area
  • SAME Construction Camps for high school students

Provide companies cost savings to events they support throughout the year, including:

  • Our annual golf outing in June
  • Our bi-annual sporting clays events
  • Our December Federal Agency Program Briefings

Provide opportunities for companies to be highlighted at in-person events; and support of Young Professionals within sponsor organizations.
