Industry Day is one of our largest and most impactful events, bringing together professionals across the A/E/C industry for networking, learning, and collaboration.

Whether you’re a seasoned member or new to SAME, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of our Post and make valuable connections.

Day of Logistics Subcommittee

  • Responsible for venue selection, setup, and breakdown.
  • Oversee event timelines, schedule, and coordinate with vendors (catering, audio-visual, etc.).

Sponsorship and Partnerships Subcommittee

  • Identify and secure event sponsors and partners.
  • Manage sponsorship packages to ensure value for our supporters.

Program and Content Development Subcommittee

  • Develop the agenda, including keynote speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions.
  • Coordinate with speakers and content providers to ensure engaging, high-quality presentations.

Marketing and Communications Subcommittee

  • Develop and execute a marketing plan to promote the event (social media, email campaigns, flyers).
  • Design promotional materials and manage the event website or registration platform.
  • Coordinate with the press for media coverage and partnerships.

Registration and Attendee Management Subcommittee

  • Set up registration platforms (both online and on-site).
  • Manage attendee lists, track RSVPs, and provide attendee support leading up to and during the event.

Networking Subcommittee

  • Design and organize networking opportunities, such as 1:1 sessions or roundtables with PMs.
  • Plan activities to encourage interaction and relationship-building among attendees.

Exhibitors Subcommittee

  • Coordinate with exhibitors to ensure proper booth setups, signage, and logistical support.
  • Handle logistics for displays, materials, and special exhibitor needs.
