On January 29, 2025, the SAME Washington DC Post proudly hosted its 29th Annual Awards Program at the National Press Club, bringing together military, government, and A/E/C industry professionals to celebrate outstanding contributions to SAME and the broader engineering and national security communities.

The evening began with a lively cocktail hour, offering attendees a chance to reconnect and build new relationships. Over dinner, we honored the achievements of individuals and sustaining member firms who have made a lasting impact on SAME at both the national and local levels. A highlight of the evening was the Military Branch Service Awards, where we recognized uniformed service members across six branches—U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army / USACE, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy / NAVFAC, and the U.S. Public Health Service—for their dedication and service to our nation.

In addition to the awards presentations, the event marked the induction of the 2025 SAME DC Post Board of Directors, reaffirming our commitment to advancing industry-government collaboration and the professional development of our members.

As our first in-person event of the year, the Annual Awards Program set a strong foundation for an exciting 2025. Thank you to all who attended, supported, and contributed to making this celebration a success. We look forward to another impactful year ahead!
