Webinar: PFAS IGE – Developing and Evaluating Alternatives for PFAS Treatment

Wednesday, January 24, 2024 | 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

As requirements for PFAS mitigation become more prevalent due to a maturing regulatory environment, the need to effectively screen, select, and design treatment technologies will become increasingly important. Accordingly, this webinar will focus on decision-making and screening considerations regarding PFAS treatment within the CERCLA process. The goal of the presentation is to provide a framework to evaluate remedial alternatives for PFAS soil and groundwater contamination. This webinar will provide a high-level summary of currently available and emerging technologies for field application and the associated screening considerations relating to these technologies. Attendees will learn to evaluate site-specific factors, including; site conditions, technology acceptance, policy considerations and regulatory compliance, to make informed technology selection decisions. In addition, the webinar will provide criteria to guide decision-making to address the unique challenges posed by PFAS contamination.
