Presentation: Strategic priorities included in the 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program and a Water Reliability Plan update

Rachael Beam joined Pittsburgh Water as the Chief Engineering Officer in January 2024. In this role she is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership, steering the direction, and ensuring the overall effectiveness of Pittsburgh Water’s engineering and construction operations. Prior to joining Pittsburgh Water, Rachael served as Engineering Manager for PA American Water Company, leading a team of engineers to implement the capital program for southwest PA. She has over twenty years of experience designing and managing water and wastewater projects throughout southwestern Pennsylvania. Rachael has a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from Cornell University. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
