The Greater Charleston area contains some of the fastest-growing school districts in the country. On February 7, the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Palmetto Chapter and the SAME Charleston Post will co-host our Lowcountry K-12 School District Outreach Event.
Join us and meet the leaders from various greater Charleston school districts – Charleston, Berkeley, & Dorchester (TBD) Counties. Listen to their current plans, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Discover how you and your firm (or Industry) can support these school districts to proactively grow and meet the ever-increasing needs of our schools across the Lowcountry.

Jeff Borowy, Chief Operating Officer, Charleston County School District
As the Chief Operating Officer for Charleston County School District, Jeff Borowy is responsible for facilities maintenance and construction; planning & real estate;
nutrition services; transportation; security & emergency management; information technology; nursing services; and athletics, supporting nearly 50,000 students on 80 campuses. His 9 years with the school district follow a career in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps highlighted by three command tours, service in three
conflicts, and six deployments with the Navy Seabees.
Tony Soles, CEM, Director of Facility Management, Dorchester School District Two
Soles has served in his current role since 2017 and is responsible for the District’s Capital Improvement Program as well as facility maintenance and operation. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1983 and served in multiple capacities at several Base Civil Engineering Squadrons and two RED HORSE Squadrons until his retirement in 2005.
