Date: Friday, October 25, 2024, at 1:00 pm
Where: Foodbank for the Heartland, 10525 J Street, Omaha, NE 68127
Volunteers will need to answer a brief survey and then will be directed to the Food Bank’s website to create a volunteer profile. The profile you create will be your personal account you can use again if you ever volunteer in the future with the organization. Once you’ve created your account- you will be automatically registered for the shift. If you already have an account, you will go through a different prompt that verifies your account. Upon verification, you will also be automatically registered for the event. Please check your inbox for a confirmation email, this means you are all signed up & have reserved your spot in our group.
This is a 2.5-hour shift that involves manual labor and potentially some degree of heavy lifting. Our reservation is under: “Society of American Military Engineers – Justin Roberts”.
Faculty sponsors and Omaha Post parents/members are welcome to register and join. Please consider staying for a late lunch and networking (location TBD).
