This presentation outlines the role of passive and active perimeter security barriers and procedures in an effective holistic approach to blast mitigation and standoff distance for physical site security. This presentation addresses recent developments and innovations with regard to design/build technologies, and discusses the implications these products and procedures have on protecting critical infrastructure assets and facilities relative to homeland security.
