National Foundation Board Nomination

Nominations are Open until August 30, 2024

The SAME Foundation Board of Directors’ primary mission is to raise funds to underwrite programs that “foster engineering leadership for the nation.” The Foundation and the Society share the same Strategic Plan. Terms are for three years on a January 1 cycle with an option to extend for an additional three years. Help is needed in the areas of finance and budget, fundraising, marketing, and stewardship. Meetings are primarily virtual 4-5 times per year. For more information, please contact Kathy Off.

Qualifications

The SAME Foundation Board of Directors is currently taking nominations to fill open board positions. The Foundation Board seeks candidates with (a) unquestioned ethics, loyalty and integrity; (b) strong communication skills; and (c) high level leadership positions with military, government and/or industry. Nominators may be any SAME MEMBER. You may collect the information from your nominee and submit on the form below or allow your nominee to fill out the information and include your name as the nominator. No self nominations.
