Thanks for Celebrating Member Appreciation Week!
From July 15-19, SAME celebrated its second annual Member Appreciation Week, spotlighting the members across Posts, Regions, and Communities who make the Society such a special place. Members also enjoyed video messages from 105th National President Sharon Krock, SPWS, F.SAME; President-Elect Mike Huffstetler, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, F.SAME; and Membership COI Chair Bobbi Jo-Lang on the many benefits their membership offers, as well as daily giveaways.
During the weeklong celebration, we congratulated the following members with SAME anniversaries with swag!
- 50-Year: David Berretta, Memphis Post
- 25-Year: Kurt Yoshii, Orange County Post/Los Angeles Post
- 10-Year: Joanna Christian, Emerald Coast Post
- 5-Year: Cdr. Tara Goon Bizjek, USPHS
We also kicked off our 2024 Member-Get-a-Member Campaign (running through October 15, 2024) and launched the new SAME Mobile 365 App. Congratulations to Scott Gable, San Francisco Post/Sacramento Post, and winner of a free SBC registration from our SAME App contest!
Our many thanks to all those who shared the value of their membership on social media, using hashtags #SAMEMember and #SAME Celebrates, and highlighted friends and colleagues across SAME who inspire them like Tara Dean.
