Enlisted Membership in SAME
Enlisted Members represent the perspective, experience and skills of the Total Force enlisted servicemembers within SAME. The Society is committed to recognizing the need to cultivate this valuable asset, and provide mentoring, occupational, and networking opportunities. Joining SAME as an Enlisted Member is a great way to learn more about the A/E/C industry, collaborate with members from other military services, begin to build your after-service professional network, and find and develop mentoring relationships, and connect with peers interested in similar career paths.

- Explore an array of programs designed to support your career while in uniform and later as you transition into post-service careers.
- Participate in SAME Posts/Field Chapters, which are located in many large cities and near a number of military installations.
- Gain additional leadership experience by volunteering for a Post/Field Chapter or within SAME’s Communities of Interest, representing technical disciplines within the A/E/C industry, such as the Energy & Sustainability COI, Environmental COI, Leader Development COI, and Facility Management COI.
- Earn reimbursement for licensure, certifications, and other credentials specific to the A/E/C and facilities management fields. Through its Credentialing Assistance Program, SAME provides financial support for members who earn certain qualifications and also for taking exams and preparation materials.

SAME offers individual membership categories for military/government, with pricing based on whether the person is a Young Professional or regular member.*

Terms & Details
SAME membership terms, in all other cases, are for one year and based on an anniversary cycle, so you will renew on the anniversary of your join date. If your membership lapses beyond our 60-day grace period, your membership term will begin on the day you renew.
Your membership includes one primary Post (chapter). Once you have submitted your national membership dues, we will contact you with instructions on how to complete a full profile and select your Post so you can start maximizing your membership immediately!
Additional Post memberships may be purchased for $10 per Post. There is no limit to how many Posts you can join.
NOTE: Dues are non-refundable and Individual Membership is not transferable. Rates are in effect as of the dates set by the SAME Board of Direction.
