On November 2, 2024, the SAME Baltimore Post proudly hosted a booth at the 10th annual Stars, Stripes & Chow Chili Cook-Off at Orioles Stadium in Baltimore City. This cherished event brings together the community each year to raise funds for The Baltimore Station, a local shelter dedicated to transforming lives by helping veterans overcome challenges and find stability.
The event saw a strong turnout, with attendees gathering to sample chili and support a worthy cause. SAME Baltimore Post members Stacy Kahatapitiya, Andy Parker, Elaine Guarriello, Bernie Rabe, and Ivy Harvey led the booth on behalf of the Post, serving up cheer and warm bowls of chili in honor of local veterans.
