Baltimore Post- Maryland’s Statewide Leadership and Mentoring Program is open for applications!

This prestigious year-long leadership program serves to identify and cultivate talent from within the Chesapeake, Mid-Maryland, and Baltimore Posts to develop leaders for the future of the A/E/C profession. Program start is January 2025.

The 2025 Maryland Region LMP curriculum will consist of 11 sessions over the course of 12 months. Typical monthly sessions will last at least one hour in duration, with a mix of in person and online programming. Topics will include self-analysis, team dynamics and team leadership, and planning your future. The program will kick-off with an in-person program followed by a social event that will give participants an opportunity to meet their classmates, LMP leadership, and industry executives.

In order to graduate the program, students may not miss more than two sessions.

Applicants will have the desire to increase their knowledge and understanding of leadership principles, skills, and methods with the goal of applying these tools to strengthen and enable themselves, their teams, and organizations to reach their full potential.

LMP participants are encouraged to select a mentor, either from their post or from the list of State-wide mentors. Mentors are experienced professionals, recent graduates of the SAME National LDP, C-Suite Executives, and/or an SAME Fellow.
