On Sunday, August 25, 2024, UNL held its annual Big Red Welcome Street Festival, where hundreds of organizations set up booths and handed out swag and info to thousands of incoming freshmen. Student Chapter President Jacob Lang, Post President Stephanie Heibel, and VP of IGE Bobbi Jo Lang joined in the fun by handing out microwavable popcorn and swag and chatting with students about the benefits of SAME membership and of joining the UNL Student Chapter.
