On September 28, SAME Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati Student Chapter returned to New River Gorge for an exhilarating weekend which included a tour of the Summersville, WV USACE Dam and a whitewater rafting excursion! This event provided University of Cincinnati STEM students with an opportunity to learn about construction and hydroelectric power from the Army Corps of Engineers, and also build their teamwork skills as they braved the rapids of the river!
