2024 Post Scholarships

The Orange County Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is requesting applications for scholarships to be awarded at an upcoming meeting of the Post. The mission of SAME is to promote and facilitate engineering support for national security by developing and enhancing relationships and competencies among uniformed services, public and private sector engineers and related professionals.

WHO MAY APPLY

Community College STEM Students Members
Major: Interest in pursuing a STEM Field degree
Officially enrolled in a Community College located in Orange County*
Class Standing: Enrolled full-time as of Fall 2024
GPA: 3.0 minimum overall

University or College STEM Students
Major: Any STEM field
School: Any accredited Orange County engineering school*
Class Standing: Full-time Enrollment as of Fall 2024
GPA: 3.0 minimum in major and overall

*Students attending schools outside of Orange County, but who graduated from an Orange County high school are also eligible

Application Information

Applications will be accepted through September 20, 2024. The scholarship ceremony will be held during the Orange County Post October 17, 2024 Luncheon event. Please submit or email applications to:
