Faith Powell is currently an Associate with HDR Inc serving as a Project Manager and Client Manager for Civil Works Water Resource related work, largely centered on infrastructure at or near dams. The work she does includes new design, retrofits, rehabilitation, construction services as well as positioning for that type of work. At HDR, she serves in various roles on projects ranging from Project Manager, Subject Matter Expert, Engineer of Record (EOR), and Project Engineer. Faith has experience with working for agency client groups at the state and federal levels. Her contractual experience includes working within IDIQ/IDC, MATC, and SATOC delivery systems with appropriated funding sources for traditional Design Bid Build contracts, as well as teaming with contractors for progressive Design Build contracts.
Faith has been actively engaged with the Seattle Post since 2018 and is very excited to be selected as the SAME’s Seattle Post President for the 2024-2025 term. She is looking forward to the coming year to continue the great work of those that have served before her by working with the committee chairs, the Board of Directors, and most importantly all the amazing professionals who support the mission of Society of the American Military Engineers. Faith’s goals for this coming year are to increase value to the membership by providing more opportunities for Industry Government Engagement through our programs, to have more regional engagement to better further the mission of SAME, and to increase partnership between the professional members and representatives of our enlisted servicepeople.
